These terms outline the rules and expectations for using The Rental Circle platform.
1. Platform Role
The Rental Circle is a peer-to-peer marketplace acting as an intermediary. We connect individuals who own assets with those who wish to rent them. The Rental Circle does not own the assets listed on the platform.
2. Eligibility and Responsible Use
Users must provide accurate information when listing or requesting an asset. You agree not to use the platform for any illegal activities or to misuse any rented asset.
3. Listings and Requests
Submitting a rental request does not constitute a confirmed booking. Every request is subject to manual review and explicit owner approval. The Rental Circle does not guarantee the availability of any asset.
4. Owner Responsibilities
Owners are responsible for ensuring their listed assets are accurately described and in safe, working condition. Owners have the final right to approve or reject any request.
5. Renter Responsibilities
Renters are responsible for returning the asset in the exact condition it was received. Renters must respect all operational rules set by the owner and the platform.
6. Deposits and Handover
Security deposits may apply, especially for high-value assets. Final deposit amounts and handover expectations are manually coordinated before the rental proceeds. Both parties are strongly encouraged to complete a before-and-after condition check.
7. Limitation of Promises
The Rental Circle does not guarantee income for owners, nor do we promise 100% safety, instant bookings, or absolute legal/insurance coverage. All transactions are conducted at the discretion of the users involved.
